To unlock the device once wiped use the six digit system PIN displayed in the Dashboard. The Mac locks once it receives the command and begins to wipe its contents. When prompted enter your Dashboard password to confirm the wipe command.
Remote Wipe - Locks then erases all data on the Mac. Lock Device - Remotely locks the Mac workstation with a one-time PIN code Instant Restart – Restart the Mac workstation Select the required command to issue to the selected device This option is also available from the Workstation, Device or Mobile Device drop-down Right-click on the macOS computer in the Workstations or Mixed views, or the iOS device under Mobile Devices. Once received the device actions the command then returns the results to the Dashboard where they can be viewed in the Command History section.Ĭommands are queued for processing where the device did not have an internet connection or was turned-off when the command was issued. Commands can be sent to Apple Device Management enrolled macOS and iOS devices directly from the Dashboard.
